I caught your show tonight and couldn’t help but perk up when one of you (this was my second time listening, so I’m not sure who was talking) mentioned Tom’s of Maine eggplant honeysuckle and oak deodorant. Or whichever it was. I myself hate using anti-perspirant for the same reasons: itchiness, possible toxicity, etcs. THEN I tried so-and-so’s brand ultimate DEODORANT STONE: http://www.deodorantstones.com/ No for real, I found this at the asian grocery store; turns out its actually made in Scottsdale, AZ (I live in Phoenix). But the shizz works!! I drink Red Bull and Rock Star all day, and all those bio-degradable B vitamins really make me notice myself at times. I swear to you, three weeks into using this, I have ZERO body odor. Basically right after every shower, I just rub the stone under my arms, walk around a little so it air dries, then throw on a little corn starch powder (I have a 4 month old baby) and I’m good to go, like, for DAYS (although I apply once per day for good measure, I’ve tested it up to three days with NO smell). I guess the salt eats the bacteria, so its literally impossible for the b.o. molecules to thrive, or whatever. But TRY IT cuz this is amazing. Then you can throw some Tom’s basil and jalapeno rose water tapioca and sunflower seed deodorant on top for pleasant culinary aromas to emanate from you; it won’t affect the odor-killing function (although if you mix the right flavors of Tom’s you might successfully replicate your actual scent profile).
