Good brains: “The Lady Brain Show,” hosted by Steph Walton and Lauren Schiller and known for the hosts’ candor (it’s been billed as “The Imagined Child of Howard Stern and Terry Gross“), is back on the local air. After bouncing around various stations, including KUSF and “Green 960,” it’s landed on KNEW (960 AM) Saturdays from 10 p.m. to midnight, beginning Sept. 22. The show, which began in 2009 as a podcast, also is televised on Comcast’s Hometown Network (Ch. 104) and aired on KSTE in Sacramento. –Ben Fong Torres, “Radio Waves,” SF Chronicle, 9/16/12
