   Loved your response to the “who get’s ahead” question. I do think that in a competitive environment it’s important to watch your back and understand your own self worth. It doesn’t preclude being collaborative but may help you avoid being used.

     Excellent point Kelly! We agree it pays to understand your co-workers’ motivations–it will help you know who to partner with and with whom to be a bit more wary. Thanks for writing in!
